Azerbaijan is a magical land of the Shemakhan queen (the ancient city of Shemakh - was the capital of the state of Shirvan, which used to be called paradise on earth), oil derricks (the Nobel brothers, founders of the world famous award, made their capital here), protected natural oases, relict forests and healing thermal springs.

This is the place of the most ancient rock paintings and followers of the mysterious cult of the Fire Worshippers. The country is located in 9 out of 11 existing climatic zones (!).

Azerbaijan is rich in traditions and architectural monuments, combined with ultra-modern skyscrapers and magnificent roads (a Formula 1 race track runs right along the roads of Baku). It is a land of pomegranate trees, colorful fabrics and carpets.

The food here is also a national treasure (do not forget to treat yourself with sturgeon, black caviar, kebabs and many kinds of sweets). Do not miss a stroll through the Baku bazaar, filled with bright colors and scents of the East, where you will not leave without shopping.
